What stays on your device
Your TV-package choices, manual service selections, followed teams, favorite or hidden sports, saved-game listing snapshots, appearance choice, and ZIP code are saved locally by the website or mobile app so Screen Lineup can remember your lineup. Screen Lineup does not currently offer accounts or maintain a user profile database.
The app also saves your date, filters, search and scroll position on the device for up to 12 hours so you can return after opening a viewing link. Schedule responses and their original fetch times may be cached on the device for offline use. Coverage comparisons match your teams and services on your device using ordinary date and optional ZIP schedule requests; your full favorite-team or saved-game list is not uploaded.
You can remove this information by clearing the site's storage in your browser or uninstalling the mobile app. Removing or reinstalling the PWA may also clear it.
Mobile reminders and sharing
If you choose “Remind me” for a saved game in the Android or iOS app, Screen Lineup asks the device for notification permission and schedules the reminder locally on that device. The device stores the public game identity, start time and Screen Lineup link with the notification. Screen Lineup does not upload a reminder list or use reminders for advertising. You can cancel reminders in the app or disable notifications in your device settings.
Calendar export creates a one-time game snapshot with an optional alarm. Your browser may download a calendar file, or the mobile app may open Screen Lineup's public calendar endpoint with the game identity and schedule date. It does not include your ZIP, selected services or favorite list. Calendar copies are managed separately by your chosen calendar app.
If you choose Share, the app opens your device's standard share sheet or offers a public link to copy. The link can include a game, team search, date and public filters; it does not include your ZIP, selected services, full favorite-team list or saved-game list. The recipient sees those public link details and uses their own viewing settings. Nothing is sent until you complete the share or copy/paste it into a destination.
Report listing opens an editable draft containing public listing facts and source freshness. You review it before opening an email draft or copying it. Screen Lineup does not automatically send reports; your email or messaging service handles anything you choose to send.
How your ZIP is used
If you provide a five-digit ZIP code, it is included in schedule requests to Screen Lineup and sent to the public Gracenote TV-listings service to identify your local ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX affiliate schedule. ZIP-specific responses may be temporarily cached by Screen Lineup's Cloudflare infrastructure to reduce repeated requests and improve reliability.
A ZIP code is optional. Without one, the site shows national or regional network information when available.
Infrastructure and third parties
Cloudflare hosts and protects the site and may process normal request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URLs, and security signals in accordance with its own policies. Schedule and watch links may connect to sports leagues, networks, streaming services, and other schedule providers; their privacy policies apply once you visit them.
Analytics, advertising, and affiliates
Screen Lineup uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page views, visits, landing pages, referring sites, device type, country, and page-performance measurements. Cloudflare's analytics beacon does not use cookies or local storage, does not fingerprint visitors for analytics, and does not log URL query strings. Screen Lineup does not use these measurements to build individual profiles or recognize returning people.
The site also records a small set of aggregate product events in Cloudflare Workers Analytics Engine: whether a schedule load succeeded, was empty, partial, or failed; whether a team search returned results, no results, an ambiguous match, a partial result, or a failure; whether a sport, source, or coverage filter was used; which service or source category an outbound viewing action used; and approved source, medium, and campaign-family labels from Screen Lineup's own tagged distribution links. These events include only the page path, coarse result/count/range categories, and approved service, filter, or distribution identifiers. They do not include IP addresses in the analytics dataset, ZIP codes, raw team searches, event names, destination URLs, full query strings, campaign dates, user identifiers, or saved service/sport preference sets. Unknown or free-form distribution tags are discarded. Product-event data is retained by Cloudflare for three months.
For aggregate page views and outbound actions, the site also records a broad referring-source category: a known search engine, another site, an internal page, or unknown. The category is determined in your browser; the product-event dataset does not receive the referring URL, its host, or its search terms. This does not add cookies, local storage, session identifiers, or visitor identifiers, and does not track your original source across pages.
Screen Lineup does not use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising. Some clearly labeled paid links contain affiliate tracking tags. If you follow one, the destination service may process the referral and use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy policy. Screen Lineup may earn a commission at no extra cost to you and does not sell personal information.
