Find your local CW station
Use The CW's station finder to identify your affiliate, then check its current guide for the announced game or race. Local station streams may be unavailable on some services. If using cable, satellite or live TV streaming, confirm the affiliate in your exact package before subscribing.
Where the station is receivable, an antenna provides its free over-the-air broadcast. Our antenna guide explains reception checks and optional recording. Scan for channels and test reception before the event; a national CW listing does not guarantee reception at your home.
Live CW Sports streams in the ESPN app
The CW's August 4, 2026 launch announcement places live CW Sports in the ESPN app for ESPN Unlimited subscribers, alongside the continuing broadcast channel. This sports access is not a promise of the complete local CW entertainment lineup.
Open the exact event in ESPN Watch and check existing Unlimited activation before buying again. A standalone plan, bundle or eligible provider may supply access; confirm the account entitlement and current terms in our ESPN guide. ESPN Select alone is a different plan and should not be treated as proof of Unlimited access.
The free CW app is not the live main feed
The CW Sports streaming FAQ directs live games to ESPN. A replay tile in The CW app or CWTV.com does not establish live access. Replay availability varies: ESPN has an initial exclusive window beginning the following day, after which eligible replays can appear free on The CW. WWE NXT has a next-day on-demand exception. Check the specific listing rather than assuming every event has an immediate free replay.
For the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, official NASCAR viewing help distinguishes the live race on CW broadcast or ESPN from practice, qualifying, in-car cameras and Battle Cam on The CW app. Companion cameras are not the main race broadcast and have no audio commentary. The general FAQ limits CW-app practice and qualifying streams to the end of 2026; verify the current session and date.
Match the series and event to its broadcaster
Use this week's sports schedule and the official CW Sports hub to locate the announced event. A CW assignment for one conference game or NASCAR series does not include every game or race. Confirm the local broadcast guide or ESPN event listing before paying.
Captured events below are a subset, not the full CW schedule. Check the date, start-time status and exact viewing source; an unlisted event is not proof that the broadcaster has no coverage.
CW station, ESPN streaming and NASCAR replay guidance checked October 2, 2026. Confirm current access and event availability before game time.
