Included broadcasts and add-ons differ

Prime membership includes eligible Amazon sports broadcasts. Prime Video also sells channel subscriptions and pay-per-view events with their own charges and restrictions. Open the exact matchup and read its access requirement before subscribing. A league listed on Prime Video does not mean every game is included with membership. Amazon's sports and subscription overview.

02

Find and record Thursday Night Football

For a game assigned to Prime Video, sign in to the Prime Video app or website and search for Thursday Night Football. Amazon also places live games in its Sports area. Check the matchup and announced start time in our NFL schedule; other NFL broadcasters require their own access.

Amazon's season-recording option starts from the Record button on a TNF game. Opting in adds the season's broadcasts and enables full-game pause, rewind and replay. Without that opt-in, rewind access is limited. Follow Amazon's TNF viewing and recording instructions before kickoff.

03

NBA on Prime is separate from League Pass

Amazon's NBA on Prime broadcasts and the NBA League Pass channel subscription are different products. Check Amazon's official NBA on Prime schedule for its assigned games. League Pass carries other eligible games with its own subscription and blackout rules; it is not included automatically with Prime.

In the U.S., the NBA says Prime-exclusive games play on Prime Video and are subject to national League Pass blackouts. If you already pay for League Pass, check eligible account linking before buying again. NBA's Prime and League Pass explanation · NBA TV, League Pass and account linking.

04

Hockey access depends on your territory

Amazon lists regional NHL streams for eligible U.S. local markets, with team-specific packages and subscription requirements. A Prime label alone does not establish in-market access or an included stream. Check your team's current package and location before paying. Amazon's regional NHL guidance · NHL schedule and local viewing help.

Canada has a different package: Wednesday Night Hockey begins with the 2026–27 season and is included for eligible Prime members in Canada. This does not establish U.S. access to the same broadcast. Use Amazon Canada's current schedule rather than an older Monday Night Hockey page.

Before adding another subscription

  1. Check your existing account. If your membership already includes the assigned broadcast, use that access first. Verify linked channel subscriptions separately.
  2. Confirm the total.Read the renewal price, add-on cost and billing terms. U.S. membership pricing does not establish Canadian or other international pricing.
  3. Test your device.Sign in and open the event page on the device you intend to use. Confirm current app support and any access prompt before game time.
